ABOUT ART CART

Art Cart Studio focuses on the playful process of

art making. In the studio children are encouraged to question the world around them, experiment with a variety of materials, and generate pieces of artwork that reflect their individual interests.

There is a strong emphasis on inquiry based learning and the importance of developing critical thinking and problem solving skills through process and reflection. In this nurturing environment every child is given the opportunity to explore their unique voice through professional guidance and playful discovery.

As a Visual Arts Educator Ashley is passionate about incorporating a sense of discovery, play, and creative exploration into the art studio. She strives to inspire students to approach challenges with curiosity, problem-solving skills, and confidence. She strongly believes that children should have agency over their own creativity and feel empowered to express themselves as individuals. Ashley is committed to building strong, meaningful, relationships with her students and their families as well as within her broader community.

Explore and experiment together using a variety of age-appropriate materials. This hands on class encourages creativity, sensory play, and connection. This is the perfect activity to have fun together!

Open Studio Exploration

Artists explore open-ended studio time through the use of various materials and techniques.
As they experiment and play they work toward creating a piece of artwork true to their unique creative process.
